Kyiv-Adler train will run every day from Jan 24 to feb 23

The State Railway Administration of Ukraine (Ukrzaliznytsia) has changed the schedule of train pair No. 18/17 Kyiv-Adler to satisfy the needs of passengers in transportation for the period of holding the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi.

From January 24 to February 23, 2014 the train will depart from Kyiv every day (apart from February 15) at 1507 and will arrive to Sochi at 2242 next day. After the Winter Olympic Games, the train's schedule will be changed to the previous one - every other day.

In general, transportation of passengers from Ukraine to the places where the Winter Olympic Games will be hosted will be provided by three pairs of trains. Train pair No. 23/24 Moscow-Adler, which will run every day from January 25 to February 21, 2014, and train pair No. 302/301 Minsk-Adler, which will depart from Minsk from January 22 to February 20, 2014 every other day (on even dates).

If there were applications to carry organized groups of passengers or the passenger flow towards Sochi considerably increases, Ukrzaliznytsia is ready to mull the appointment of additional trains.

The Winter Olympic Games will be held from February 7 to February 23, 2014.
