Price of tickets on domestic trains to Crimea to remain unchanged

The price of railway tickets for trains running between the continental part of Ukraine and Crimea and back has not changed, and the domestic tariff is still in effect on the route.

Misunderstandings linked to the sale of tickets on June 10 and June 11, 2014 under an international tariff, which is considerably more than the domestic tariff, is linked to the failure of the Express 3 automated ticket sale system of OJSC RZD.

Federal Passenger Company under the request of passengers who bought tickets at the increased tariffs will return the difference in the price at the ticket offices of those stations where the tickets were bought.

Ukrzaliznytsia also said that on June 12, 2014 the administration will open sale of tickets for trains going to Crimea and back for dates from June 16 to June 30.

The price of tickets on the route remains unchanged.

As reported, in the past two days tickets in the Express 3 system of RZD sold in Russian rubles cost three times more than the tickets bought in Ukrzaliznytsia using hryvnias (in the equivalent).
