Ukrzaliznytsia opens contact center on organization of cargo shipments

The State Railway Administration of Ukraine (Ukrzaliznytsia) on January 20 opened a contact center on the organization cargo shipments on the basis of the Ukrainian Transport Logistics Center state enterprise.

That the main goal of the creation of the contact center is the improvement of the provision of services to transport infrastructure users. Thanks to the contact center the technologies of cooperation with customers of services to the online communication regime will be reoriented with settling problems during online requests.

Any user of transport infrastructure will be able to get the required information about cargo shipments. We plan to improve the quality of servicing of various cargo shipment market players,"  said First Deputy Director General Ukrzaliznytsia Vitaliy Zhurakovsky.

Ukrainian Transport Logistics Center Director Volodymyr Ivaschuk said that at the initial stage the contact center will focus on cooperation with cargo dispatchers and operators, and in future it would coordinate the whole logistics chain and ensure cooperation with various organizations, agencies and ministries. At the initial stage the contact center will fulfill functions of accepting applications from service users, their processing, systematization and organization of feedbacks to settle issuers, informing clients on the state of any stage of shipment from the signing of an agreement to the final payment and provision of other helpful information online.

The Ukrainian Transport Logistics Center state enterprise, a structural division of Ukrzaliznytsia, started operating on December 16, 2011. Its core business is organization of cargo shipments in Ukraine in wagons of state and private owners, realization of the marketing and tariff policies of Ukrzaliznytsia, signing of agreement with transport service consumers, organization of information accompanying of shipments, organization of shipments of cargo by rail in cooperation with other types of transport.
