The UZ Supervisory Board Comment on National Anti-Corruption Bureau investigation regarding the procurement of electronic ticketing service for the Kyiv-Boryspil Express
The Supervisory Board of Ukrzaliznytsia has become aware of NABU’s investigation into the process and facts regarding the electronic ticketing software service procured in connection with the launch of the Kyiv – Boryspil Express in late 2018.
UZ and its leadership take all such matters of suspicions and investigations of violations of laws and regulations, and related possible wrongdoing extremely seriously and extend in all cases its full cooperation to law enforcement authorities to establish all relevant facts.
In this particular instance, as in all others, applicable provisions and presumptions embedded in Ukraine’s legal framework and values, as well as UZ’s anti-corruption rules and standards as formalized in our Code of Ethics will guide our actions. We eagerly await the preliminary outcome of NABU’s present investigation to determine our course of action. Towards this purpose, a separate internal review of the facts and circumstances regarding this matter is also being launched immediately.
The Supervisory Board spares no effort to promote ethical behavior and to fight to prevent corruption in the Company.
