Adomas Audickas appointed a Member of the Supervisory Board of JSC “Ukrainian railways”

The Government delegated Adomas Audickas to the Supervisory Board of JSC “Ukrainian railways”. He was appointed on August 14, 2019.

The newly elected Member of the Supervisory Board received education and training in France, Great Britain, Singapore and Lithuania. He has several academic degrees, and holds the CFA level II certificate on corporate governance from the Baltic Institute.

Adomas Audickas has extensive experience in the corporate governance. He was the Advisor to the former Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman on corporate governance, communications and energy policy. He is a Member of the Supervisory Board of Maritech Group and Main Gas Pipelines of Ukraine. Furthermore, Adomas held the position of Chairman of the UAB VAE (Lithuania) Supervisory Board and a Member of the Supervisory Boards of the State Property Fund and AB Giraites ginkluotes gamykla (Lithuania).

JSC “Ukrainian railways” is the first state-owned company with the Supervisory Board formed according to a new procedure including independent members. As of now there are 7 members of the Supervisory board: Sevki Acuner (Chairman of the Supervisory Board), Christian Kuhn, Anders Aslund, Andreas Matje, Daniel Bilak (Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board), Kostiantyn Marievych and Adomas Audickas.
